26 Bisexual Celebrities You Didn’t Know Swing Both Ways

The LGBTQ community covers a lot of ground. Within the larger group are various groups, all fighting for the same cause. For instance, the bisexual community has made a lot of progress over the years but is still underrepresented in many ways. Bisexual is also an umbrella term. For instance, some bisexuals find men and women attractive. Indeed, bisexuals can also mean they are attracted to more than one gender. Sometimes, they find people attractive regardless of gender identity or sex. Well, it turns out that a few famous celebrities you didn’t know are bisexual. 

At the end of the day, everyone just wants to find love. However, bisexual celebrities proudly represent the “B” in LGBTQ. They’re bringing more awareness to the bisexual community and making others feel comfortable opening up. Several world-famous stars are opening up about their own sexuality as well.

1. Lady Gaga

The iconic pop star Lady Gaga has always been a massive supporter of the LGBTQ community. She’s never hidden her bisexuality and opened up about it during an interview with Barbara Walters. Gaga admitted that part of the inspiration for Poker Face came from thinking about women while being intimate with her boyfriend.

However, a few critics doubt Gaga’s bisexuality and question her activism. Gaga responded on social media, “I may not, to some people, be considered a part of this community, even though I like girls sometimes. I would never degrade the fight you have endured.” Gaga remains one of the key people representing bisexual individuals. 

2. Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars. She’s starred in blockbusters movies and stolen the spotlight with stellar performances. Of course, Stweart is looking for love like everyone else. To be fair, love can be confusing and stressful. However, Stewart’s not confused when it comes to her sexuality.

During a 2017 interview with The Guardian, Stewart noted, “You’re not confused if you’re bisexual. It’s not confusing at all. For me, it’s quite the opposite.”

3. Billie Joe Armstrong

Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong has openly discussed his sexuality during interviews with reporters. In 1995, Armstrong spoke with The Advocate about being bisexual. Armstrong admitted that he always felt bisexual from a young age.

However, society pushed him in a different direction. He added, “They say it’s taboo. It’s ingrained in our heads that it’s bad when it’s not bad at all. It’s a very beautiful thing.”

4. Stephanie Beatriz

Actress Stephanie Beatriz is best known for portraying Rosa Diaz in the hit sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The popular show took inspiration from Beatriz’s real life. At one point, Rosa comes out to her friends and family that she’s bisexual in the fifth season.

Beatriz knew she was bisexual from a young age. She’s always been willing to talk about her sexuality and wants to inspire others to open up. She recalled the writers asking if she was open to Rosa being bisexual. She responded, “Absolutely. Yes. I’m so excited! Yes! Yes! Yes!” Beatriz worked closely with the writers to authentically execute the storyline. 

5. Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato has always been open about her mental health, addiction, and sexuality. In the past, the world-famous pop star has identified as bisexual, sexually fluid, queer, and pansexual. In 2021, she came out as non-binary and changed her pronouns to they/their. However, she later included she/her pronouns as well. Lovato’s proud to represent the LGBTQ community. 

6. Megan Fox

Megan Fox built a reputation for being open and honest about everything. She’s never afraid to speak her mind, which means the media is often obsessed with her personal life and relationships. Indeed, her relationships with Brian Austin Green and Machine Gun Kelly have always made the news.

In 2008, Fox planted the seeds about her sexuality in various interviews with subtle remarks. In 2021, Fox opened up about her bisexuality when she posted. “Putting the B in #LGBTQIA for over two decades.”

TikTok star Olivia Ponton is taking social media by storm. Her popularity continues to grow at an impressive rate. In 2021, Ponton decided Pride Month was the perfect time to address her sexuality. In an interview with Teen Vogue, Ponton admitted that she’s bisexual. She said, “I want to announce that I’m bisexual, and I’m now proud to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community.”

8. Keiynan Lonsdale

Keiynan Lonsdale is best known for his roles in Flash and Love, Simon. He’s one of Hollywood’s young stars on the rise. He’s also very open and honest about his sexuality. He embraces who he is and allows himself to grow.

In 2017, Lonsdale came out as bisexual on Instagram. He wrote, “I like to change my hair, I like to take risks with how I dress, I like girls, & I like guys (yes), I like growing, I like learning, I like who I am, and I really like who I’m becoming.” 

9. Angelina Jolie

Critics often consider Angelina Jolie one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. Her relationships often get more attention than her latest movie releases. For instance, Jolie’s marriage to Brad Pitt was significant news for years. However, it turns out that Pitt wasn’t the only one that caught Jolie’s eye.

She said in Ok Magazine, I have loved women in the past and slept with them. I think if you love and want to pleasure a woman, particularly if you are a woman yourself, then certainly you know how to do things a certain way.”

She has openly dated Ashley Benson and St. Vincent. Delevingne describes her sexuality as a swinging pendulum because it’s constantly changing. However, it all comes down to love. She said, “I fall in love with the person – and that’s that.”

He said, “I think my sexuality and most people’s sexuality is gray. I am married to a man. I have a healthy sexual appetite and a healthy imagination. I also have an attraction to women. I’ve never lost it, actually.”

She didn’t want the media attacking her personal choices. She added, “That’s not something I wanted to deal with. But to my close friends and those in my life, my bisexuality has been no secret.”

In 2003, Barrymore revealed she’s bisexual during an interview with Contact Music. She said, “Do I like women sexually? Totally. I have always considered myself bisexual.” Barrymore’s honesty only makes her more likable.

In 2013, legendary record producer Clive Davis came out as bisexual in his memoir, Soundtrack of My Life. Davis felt that bisexuality was “maligned and misunderstood.” He wanted to help bring awareness and understanding to the community.

Davis noted he’d had great relationships with women and men over the years. He still has fond memories of all his relationships regardless of gender. He said, “You don’t have to be only one thing or another.”

Actress Cynthia Nixon is a staunch LGBTQ supporter and has been open about her sexuality for years. In 2004, Nixon married Christine Marinoni, and they’ve been happy ever since. Initially, Nixon identified as bisexual in 2012. However, she now identifies as queer.

She said, “I feel like ‘queer’ is an umbrella term, and it includes my formerly straight self too.” Nixon noted falling in love with her wife didn’t turn her into a new person. She added, “I have fallen in love with different people in my life, and they’ve all been men before. Now, this is a woman, and she is amazing.”

For years, Janelle Monae identified as being bisexual. However, after reading about pansexuality, she realized that also applies to her. GLAAD uses bisexuality as an umbrella term that includes pansexuals. A pansexual is attracted romantically to people regardless of gender identity or sex. Monae hopes she can be a role model and inspiration to young people struggling with their sexuality.

Rodriguez truly loves experiencing every moment of life. She noted, “I’ve gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too fucking curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks.”

21. Aubrey Plaza

In 2016, Plaza admitted to being bisexual during an interview. Plaza confessed that she finds both men and women attractive. She said, “Girls are into me – that’s no secret. Hey, I’m into them too. I fall in love with girls and guys. I can’t help it.”

22. Willow Smith

In 2019, Willow revealed to her mother that she’s bisexual on an episode of Jada’s show Red Talk Table. She admitted to her mother, “I love men and women equally, and so I would definitely want one man, one woman. I feel like I could be polyfidelitous with those two people.”

Ramirez is a role model for young people struggling with these similar moments in life. 

24. Bella Thorne

In 2016, actress Bella Thorne came out as bisexual after the end of her previous relationship. Since then Thorne has become an open book and is always willing to discuss her sexuality. At one point, she was in a polyamorous relationship with Tana Mongeau and Mod Sun.

However, the relationships didn’t work out, and she ended them both. Later, in 2019, Throne came out as pansexual. She said, “Doesn’t have to be a girl, or a guy, or you know, a he, a she, a this, or that. It’s literally, you like personality, like you just like a being.”

25. Frank Ocean

Frank Ocean has shared past experiences that give insight into his sexuality. However, he hasn’t directly addressed the issue. In 2012, Ocean wrote an open and honest letter explaining that his first true love was a man. It was an unrequited love story as the young man didn’t feel the same way.

Regardless, Ocean avoids giving a direct answer to questions about his sexuality. He once said, “The same sentiment that I have towards genres of music, I have towards a lot of labels and boxes.”

26. Sarah Paulson

Actress Sarah Paulson is one of many celebrities that don’t want to label their bisexuality. She feels that her sexuality is constantly changing, and the label is restricting. Paulson feels the title adds expectations that make her feel “straight-jacketed.” Paulson wants to feel free to make any choice that she wants. She’s open to falling in love and wants to explore all options.
